We have snakes out at our place too...pretty common living in the country.  I just try to step around them and let them go about their business of eating the pests around my house.  Would rather have snakes then mice, rats and other destructive varmints.

Doesn't matter what it's first name is..it's last name is snake and if it was in my yard it's first name would be dead...Did I mention I really hate snakes?

I'm with Lucky.  I like the varmints that get rid of the varmints that I don't like.  :)

Fact of the matter is if you don't bother them, they won't bother you, and they do more good than harm.
But they do taste good  :lunch:
