Steve,I broke my right ankle in two places a couple years ago...I had a cast on for 6 weeks...rode my bike to/from work almost every day with it. Passed a few LEO's during those rides and never got pulled over...so I can't speak from the legal standpoint, just from the user standpoint.

I did the same thing, broke my right ankle in 2 places at one of my daughters softball tournaments. I still can't put much weight on it right now but in a week or so I should be able to ride comfortably. I took the bike around the neighborhood Saturday just to see if I could apply the foot brake, no issues. Thanks Hipshot for replying also.
So, all or our questions shall by answered by:Jim, JimorLEO, LeoorLouie, Louie ?After a little Louie, Louie and Everclear I forgot what the question was.
Well I'm one of the coaches so participation is required on my part. Kind of a fluke accident anyway. We were warming the girls up before their next game. One of the girls threw the ball high and when I jumped to catch it I came down in a hole. We were outside of the field in a grassy area that everyone uses for warm-ups. The borjken ankle / Cast isn't that big of a deal. The CRUTCHES however are a pain in the Cranberries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Steve, sorry to hear about your ankle! But more importantly, you're supposed to just watch her games, not play in them!
