Spring Thing

I just wanted to remind everyone about our upcoming event. It is going to be held March 11-14 at the Turkey roost campground (Cedar Ridge Park) at Lake Belton. We will post a map for directions and also a poll so we will know how many people are planning on coming. This is one of our bigger events that the group now pays the fees up front, so therefore the $450 cost is split between the number of attendees.**(NOTE)** The fees will be split evenly for one or three nights.This way the group recovers the cost. Turkey roost is a very nice location and this has become a smaller scale BBT type function. We hope to see you there! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:   Please feel free to offer any input about intrest in a group ride, bike games, what type of food( we have always tried to have a group meal at least one night, usually steaks or burgers. And Kenny has cooked a big pot of chili in the past also.

we be there  ;)
i can make a bad a.. paella we can get sea food very cheap here in beumont .
im also bbq ribs in chimichurry like gauchos in the Argentinian Patagonia.

is a 3 day event? hotel? cabins?tents?

There are rv spaces available and tent camping. There are also a few hotels in Temple, but then you might miss some of the festivities. The 10 rv spaces are offered to the previous year attendees first, but we have never filled all of them yet. :c There is a large pavillion, picnic tables, and clean showers and restrooms. ( We have our own facilities in the group area) They will allow up to 80 people in the Turkey Roost facility.

Paella that's what I'm talken bout -- spent a little time in Valencia Spain where I have my first paella big fan now.

hey Gumbo we aint have to wait to have some paella, just give me heads up and ride this way, i can set up a table in the dock, we can acomodate quite few people and have a nice day by the river, eating and drinking like is no tomorrow  :lunch:
