The Speed Channel, Dangerous Drives is on now doing a piece on Colorado 550. They filmed some bikes and two tank truck.

I have been on this road in the winter ... in a 4X4!!!

That showed some narrow roads with long steep dropoffs.

What about the switchbacks going up a 6 degree grade?

Rode the Million Dollar Highway back in Sep 2007.  BEAUTIFUL!!!  If you get a chance, take this ride.
