New to the group

I am new to the group.  Joined today.  Look forward to meeting everyone and going rid'n.  My wife just bought me a new (2 miles) 2007 VTX 1800T for our 25th wedding anniversary.  Complete suprise to me I might add.  We live in Wimberley, TX and are looking forward to ridding the hills.

Howdy Pudge...welcome to the group.  This is a great group of people.  There are various meet & greets that happen in different areas along with state wide meet & greets also.  Make sure and go to all that you can to reap the full benefit of this group.

Lucky and Gumbo, thanks for the warm welcome.  I look forward to the m/g and meeting new friends.  I will keep up with the board and look for some held here in Central Texas.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

Hey Pudge, my recommendation to you is...don't wait to see what happens, make it happen.  All you have to do is post a new thread in your area and say, "Hey, I'm riding over to XXXXX restaurant to grab a brew and something to eat at X:XXpm...who wants to meet up with me there?" Make it a Twin Peaks or a place similiar to that and you will have a better turn out  :t

Great advise Lucky.  If the weather stays like it has been the past few days I may do that rather quickly.  Maybe sometime after Christmas.  As I have no ridding buddys yet, that may be the way to do it.  Thanks.
