Oil Filter
« on: September 14, 2009, 01:42:13 PM »

Dayummmmm...check out this PRICEY oil filter.  Granted it is reusable but it would take a LONG time to pay for itself.  Plus the mess of cleaning it, and I would question it's filtering capabilities after several uses.

$139 for one, $159 if you're a chrome whore.

Yep, that's expensive for a used bike but not bad I think for a new one.

P.S. Don't you have SOMETHING to do FOR work?  :couch:

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

Ok, that first link I posted was for very expensive reusable filters...but here is another idea that is cheaper and sounds like a damn good idea to me.  Looks like the one that would fit our filters would run around $41

Cool but will it get you through those pesky traffic lights, too?   :hmm:
