Boat at spring thing?
« on: August 09, 2009, 02:26:32 PM »

Hey guys and gals going to spring thing. I was thinking about bringing the boat to spring thing not my bike. Anyone up for a lake day? Just trying to see who would want to go on the water to see if it was worth bringing.

Thanks

I'm sure you've probably already checked, but is the water high enough for the ramps?  I'm not familar with their water levels.  If you brought the boat, will it pull a skiier?  If it can I'd like to do it just one more time....I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm (I think) as good once as I ever was.  It's got to have a lot of power cause i'm like trying to pull a plug out of the bottom of the lake or drag'n a huge anchor.

All the ramps are open on Belton lake.

I really don't think my boat could pull a greased up string out of a cat's a$$. The damn think is likely to stand straight up. :-\ It would pull a tube or a knee board, but not a ski or wakeboard....

No worries, the boats are still made out of wood...  :stickpoke:

Just put everyone in the front when you take off and everyone to the rear when you stop.... It's an 18 ft boat with 200hp. and realllly rear end heavy.
