Or Port Lavaca - 143 mi from SA.  Hwy 87

Or SA (I-37) to Corpus then I-35 to Port Lavaca for lunch (1-1:30) then hwy 87 home.

We leave I-37 & 1604 at 7:30am.  369 mles we can do this easy.  Let's go!

A Sunday ride - right?

Y'all are invited to join me and some buds... we're taking off from the Twin Cities on Friday, heading east and up central Wisconsin, staying in Spooner, WI Friday night. Saturday's ride takes us up into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and Sunday is a strong ride back to Minneapolis/St. Paul. Temps have been in the very high 90s/low 100s, so it may be a hot one!  O0

Stay focused boys

Jerry Port Lavaca sounds pretty interesting.  Know any good sea food joints there?

All I know is that it's a Victory; won't know the actual model until I get there. My buddy works for Polaris, so it will be what he pulls from their loaner pool. 2 wheels, and it'll get me down the road and back!  O0

I'd say visiting the Lexington is a great idea. Seafood is always a great idea.

I have eaten at the Water Street Seafood Co. on several occasions that I have been to CC and each time the food and service has been excellant. Just my .02 worth.  This boiling point restaurant sounds pretty good.  When I lived in Ms. we use to boil shrimp, crabs with spices, corn on the cob,and sausage quiet often at work cajun style. Great food.

Everyone... I rerouted this thread, so we could define the ride, and hopefully others will see it. It just got buried under a non-descript heading.
