Welcome back boys...have been off the board for several days due to moving (still in the midst of it) and no internet at house yet.  Looking forward to the pics and stories.

Welcome home!  Glad to hear that you had a great trip and that you all made it back safely.  Looking forward to the pics and to hearing more about your trip at the next meet 'n greet.

Got home 4pm Wednesday. Cool enough morning from Abilene until about Leander above Austin on 183. Just kept getting hotter and hotter all the way home.

5451 miles total for me

With X Riders

Houston to

Amarillo
Golden (Denver)
Cody, Wy  (went to Silver Dollar Salloon and borrowed singer's guitar and did three songs, folks in there ask me to do a fourth...big fun)
Great Falls, Mt
Glacier Nat Park (well worth the trip)
Some place by the Lake Montana
Jackson Wy

Solo

Steamboat Springs Co.
Telluride Co. (prettiest setting for a town I have ever seen. Will post pics)  (borrowed Guy's guitar and did three songs with good fiddle player...crowd was young and oblivious mostly...bartender said he liked it so I tipped him)
Durango (two nights) (hung out and drank with two bikers, a Harley dude and a BMW dual sport guy. The BMW guy was the crazier of the two. May do A trip with him)
Mesa Verde (from Durango...Ancient indian ruins well worth the trip...will post pics)
Four  corners (from Durango...not worth doing. It's not even in the right place and it is in the burnt up middle of nowhere on an Apache reservation)

Albuquerque...very pretty town...did ole route 66 through downtown.
Abilene (this is the most folded up, boring place I went. Bible Town. Only thing to do at night is go home and pray and repeat the next day...not my thing.)
Home

Enjoyed everyone's company.  Thanks to Brock for the invitation and for keeping track of my whereabouts when I solo'd. Sorry about snoring.

Wonderful trip and memory. Beautiful scenery became commonplace.

Enjoyed it Martin.

Here is what I posted in another thread.

Here's the link to my pictures.  I've downsized them for faster uploading.  I'll be continuing to upload throughout the day.  http://www.texasxriders.com/index.php?action=gallery;su=user;cat=53;u=167
