Fort Worth Bike Mechanic
« on: June 05, 2009, 12:31:53 PM »

Does anyone know of a good reliable bike mechanic in the Fort Worth area?  I am considering replacing my neck bearings and don't have the tools or patients.  I would prefer not to take it to a dealer.

The last guy I used was pretty good with doing a valve adjustment, check out Ricky at the Motorcycle Shop on Hwy 10 in Hurst.

I believe you may be speaking of Reed's V-twins on Hwy 10 in Hurst, just east of 820. Great bunch of guys there, they just put tires on my X yesterday. My first post on here, howdy all!

Thanks, I will check these places out.  If there are anymore out there, post them up, it's going to be a little while before I can shell out for the neck bearing install since I just got new tires, but with your help I can cruise those new tires looking for a good honest mechanic.

I had real good luck with The Bikers Garage in Roanoke, can't remember the mechanics name, but he was young and really knows the X very well.
