Just wanted to let ya'll know...............

If you get a pop up that tells you to click on it to up date your Adobe Reader "DO NOT CLICK ON IT" . It will attach malware to your computer.

Like a dummy I did and I have been cleaning my Marigold's Place website for several weeks. It's clean now but man it was a major headache. Google flagged it and kept anyone from clicking on my site. I lost several weeks of business........... I had Google reveiw it and they removed the warning..

If you get a pop up to update any programs you may have in your computer just close the pop up and go to their site. If there is any up dates it will let you know. Sometimes some updates aren't even needed.

Always good advice, along with avoiding emails from your bank, telling you that your account may have been compromised, and advising you to log in with your account info and password, in order to gain further instructions. They are 100% BS....

Alright, I changed the censor thing back to checking whole words only instead of partial.  Apparently, it didn't switch a lot of them back though.

Marigold, glad you got it figured out.  As a rule of thumb, I normally do not update anything besides my antivirus software (which is usually automatic anyway).  If your progams are working fine and websites are coming up correctly, there's no need to update.

I'll usually do Flash, Java & Windows updates, but I do most of them manually.  Microsoft will try sneaking in stupid driver updates and other useless crap...so I watch them like a hawk.

Again, glad you're back in business!

Like you most of my programs works fine without updates.

But like an idiot  it pops up while I was working on my web site, so I clicked it. Afterwards I noticed some weird html codes on the code page but figured maybe DW8 was like FrontPage and add their own codes....Wrong. I should have remembered DW8 don't do that. That's the reason stop using FP and started using DW8. I will not assume anything again.
