San Antonio Area Riders
« on: July 26, 2006, 01:44:10 PM »

I just received a phone call from a good friend of mine that is the VP of The Blue Knights TX Chap.IV. They are having a charity ride this coming Saturday 7/29. See link: http://www.blueknightstxiv.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx and he called to invite me, and any other rider's that wish to come along. I'm going to attend, for a good cause, and the opportunity to pick up a few pointer's of organization. Just wanted to invite everyone, and see if we could get a group together. They may have an additional ride afterwards.

I'm in.  Do you need us to "sign up" or do we just show up?  It's a great cause and I could use all the good karma I can get.

We can meet at a central point, and then ride together to the Hungry Farmer.

What's in Ruidoso.  All of a sudden eveyrbody seems to be going there.  Are you riding your bike?

Jerry

Not riding bike this time.  Going with family for one last fling before school starts.  Have a house rented there for 3 nights.  There's races, casinos and lots of beautiful places to just ride and view & it's gonna be a lot cooler there than here.

Jerry, Dan, y'all want to meet at Joe Harrison's on I-35 @ 11:00AM? It's on the way for everyone. We can take 35 to the southside. Quickest/easiest.

Today is my oldest daughter's 18th birthday so I am going to surprise her by showing up at her aunt's house.  Weather permitting, I will ride the X there and back.  I've been on the phone looking for some highway pegs to mount to my 1-1/2 inch Cobra Fatty.  So far, I'm hearing special order.  Anyone think of a local that I could purchase from tonight?  I'd like something to stretch out some.  Maybe returning via Austin so the price savings of ordering from HDL and waiting vs the comfort of traveling with pegs tomorrow......I'm thinking buy tonight..   Anyone?  Bueler?
