Website Update
« on: May 22, 2009, 04:39:00 PM »

Finally, I got the update function to work which basically allowed me to upgrade the forum to stay secure.  The host provider had to change some security settings on their end.  They've been great with support so far.

I was also able to update the home page to a newer version, but aesthetically you'll just notice a few new icons and some different colors.

At some point I will start playing with themes to see which theme we can change over too that's stable.  I, personally, am tired of the blue.  The only issue with changing, is some of the modifications don't work with every theme, but that's not your problem.

All of this is just to keep the members informed of what I'm doing.  The Bluebonnet Rally logo needs to be removed as well.  Hopefully this weekend.

I don't know you, or most of the people on here, but i appreciate what you do.  :c  Who pays for this web site, if there is a cost? If there is a cost, does it come out of your pocket?

Security being my business, I can tell you its no small task to stay on top of. This is especially true of web applications.

Good job.

Thanks, everyone.  It's worth it to see the TXR's grow and continue to keep old friends and new alike.

Straight gag, no. Shiny red ball gag, yes. Technicality? Only in the eyes of the sheep rancher!  ;)

Jeff, you do know that Stever has a bunch of steep drop cliffs on his land.... After all, if you "push" the sheep to the cliff, they push back!!!! :ohwow:
