Anyone finding Metzler tires at a good price?

Metzler tires have gone up lately.  If anyone knows of a good website that has good prices.  The Honda shops here in the metroplex match internet pricing.  The best found is $198.99 at motorcyclesuperstore.com.  Just in case anyone knows of a better site with better pricing.

I got mine at Wild West Honda. On the Katie freeway near Mason road. Even luckier because the kid misquoted the price so mine was a steal. The club should see if any shops will give discounts for us "Xriders". Anyway it was between them and Motorcycle discount tire in Pasadena.

Daimon, I just got a back tire from Maxim for $170 or thereabouts.

I got a front tire from centex powersports in Georgetown for 168. installed. it was and ME880 that's installed on the wheel not the bike.

I got the front for $95 plus $25 install at Rockwall Honda about 6 months ago. They sell at cost plus 10 on all tire they told me.

Don't know if you already got the Metzeler, but I would highly recommend the Avon Cobras.  I run the Venoms and am really happy with them.  The Cobras are supposed to be even better.

Like Trent said, CenTex Powersports in Georgetown has always had the best prices for me.  :thumbup:

  :stickpoke: I know all Metz's don't necessarily have this flaw (in my opinion), but their 200's only have a single ply sidewall...not an optimum set up, especially when you only have 2 tires to begin with; and, their 180's don't last as long, nor handle as well as the Avon Venom's do...so there!  :boxing:
