GREEN = ground wire?
« on: May 17, 2009, 09:02:51 PM »

Is that correct? If so then Black/Brown = Power?

ROTFL okay Hooter  :notworthy:, let me perhaps rephrase my question a little  ;D

Looking at the wiring diagram of the 2002-04 VTX 1800 there is a green wire running to all points and a Blk/brown wire running to similar points, lights and speedo and indicator box.

Am I correct in my understanding that the green wire is the grounding wire, and the Blk/Brown wire is the power wire?

If you touch the brown wire to ground and it sparks and blows a fuse, it is the power wire!   :stickpoke:

BLK/Brn is +12V on the 1300 which has almost identical wiring as the 1800....

Not trying to jack your thread but, wwaggett, that profile gif is funny as hell.

Got a Volt/amp meter? Almost any auto supply, or Walmart, cheep. Their a good tool to have for your tool box.
