just had to give credit where credit is due. just got mine in the mail today from Claw, here on the board.
first of all, he got it here quick. second, all i can say is awsome job on the mount. i truly believe i'll never have an issue with this one breaking like i did the old one. heck, this thing could almost be used for a small weapon , very heavy duty! finish is also excellent. definetly worth the money if not more in my opinipn, great job Claw!

this is a better shot, you can really see the difference in thickness. also note Claw's is welded and not just stameped out of a single piece of metal.


the last one shows how mine is cracking, this seeme to be a problem with these older style mounts.

Being I have Leatherlyke Saddle bags on my bike I wonder if you would be able to see the sticker..

  I have leatherlykes also, on my retro, upgraded seats to ultimate left a screw on the top of the fender, the Hardley (sp), place here in Austin has a stainless steel plate for $15, that fits the inspection sticker,  legal, displayed from the back
