69K and counting
« on: May 14, 2009, 08:51:35 PM »

Although it sat idle for 2 years while I was away, then got beat up by a vindictive ex, I'll hit 70K miles in less than 4 years. Ride, ride, ride...

It's awesome knowing these bikes have that sort of mileage in them.   :bikerider:

I'm 10k behind you and I've had access to the bike the whole time. You've been passing some stripes bro.

Woo Hoo Hobo...you are enjoying yourself for sure
I have been riding my bike for 15 months and have racked up 24K.  Not a lot of pleasure rides lately, but the 60 miles to/from work everyday sure makes life bearable.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

Ole Blue's been getting a rest while I'm building my shop but when it's done the white stripes will fly by again. Today looks pretty good, might run somewhere.  :c :c :c

The 1300 will be 3 years old next month.  After 2 speedo changes, I have a total of just over 83K on it.  Originally, I thought I'd put 100K on it and then move to something else.  It runs so good, I just might change that to a higher figure.

Still at 66 K Since I haven't been able to ride since February. My last good ride was to a board meeting in January down towards Houston. Sure am getting tired of looking at it sitting out there waiting to be ridden. :'( Take the lead on, Hobo!

I've only got 26K on my '02 right now BUT once we move back to the house and my commute goes from 3 miles to 47 miles I expect I'll hit 70K in 2 years. :bikerider: Provided I'm still working and not retired.  :notworthy:

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

Hats off to ya   for the miles ridden.  :notworthy:
I have not been putting on very many miles due to a pain in my left shoulder,
Must be from something I did when I was younger ,Dad always said “ don’t fool with nothing bigger that you are “,
I guess that included  women !!!!
If  I would have just  listen to Dad , I would still have a house on the gulf coast !!!  :o
