My Zigs always had Zags. Had to start buying ready-mades.

On the other hand ...

My Sigs are all straight shooters. Great guns. Take care of it and it will be ready when you need it.

Fire power in any form is a good thing. The one who holds the fire power can choose to use it as he or she sees fit. Swampy you may fit into the looney tooners but you are one of the good guys. Enjoy your new toy.

According to this you don't need to take care of them!  ???

While I don't have anything against other manufacturers, I am a Sig man at heart.  My carry pistol is a Sig P229 Combat .40 and my wife's is a P239 9mm.

I would say you did well.

I have heard about people loosing their thumb from having it by the cylinder during firing. Now I know why.
