Jimmy,
I believe the opinion is to delete them. If they are  still valid then people can repost.

Well, the problem is there's 38 pages of posts and I have to kill the posts individually.

It might be easier to move them or maybe move the working ones temporarily, kill the whole board and move them back.

I'll check and see.

What?  Just fix it to where us slow people know what is for sale.  People who want post counts can get a clicker and go for a ride on a country road and count all the posts they want to count.   :'(  zap them to something like Ironhorse said would be nice. :couch:

How much do you want for it?  What is your bottom dollar?

I've been waiting for one of these to be up for sale for a long time.

An updated post...a post which is self-setting.  Whew, no more holes to dig, no more concrete....   :t

Click 1): Rename this board "Old Sold Stuff".

Click 2): Start a new board for "For Sale".

Anybody with an active item for sale will need to copy / paste to a new post on the new For Sale board.

Would that be an easy way out for you, Brock?

All those that want to "KILL 'EM" can take the time to kill there own. (Does that just sound wrong or what?)

Just my 2 cents worth. Not going to fuss either way.

kill the board, let anyone with an active item repost. easier for them to do that than for you to go thru all those gyrations.

Well, Ironhorse actually made an easy solution.  I was over thinking it.  I can rename this board and move existing posts to a new one.

Thank you sir.

My biggest problem with deleting sold posts is that there's no accountability trail for the occasions where there's a dispute.  I've only had 1 sour deal ever on VTXOA,  but that deal was UGLY, and the guy had deleted his thread so it was far harder to prove that he sold the item falsely.  Eventually, after MUCH haranguing by a bunch of other members, he made good, but it would have been far easier if he hadn't been able to delete his sale thread.
