I don't wish a flood on anybody, but be thankful for the rain.  We are so dry here everything is dying.  Send that rain to Central Texas!

What BigPro means is we will probably get a tropical storm by the end of the week.
It's heading up the Gulf of Mexico to our area.   :(

Got an e-mail from my sister in Dallas.  They have cut their base rate from 28,000 gal to 15,000 gal.  For the next 5,000 gal the rate doubles, the next 5,000 it triples, the next 5,000 it quadruples, and the next 5,000 they shut it off.  She said her WATER bill will probably be $500.00 or $600.00 dollars because her neighbor called her at midnight Sunday and told her she had a water line break. :'(  Glad I don't live there.

I know it is very dry in Dallas and I hope you get some of this rain.

Did you get your bike finished yet? Let's see some pics!!

We have been getting tons of rain down in Beaumont. Rained all day yesterday then I fly to Dallas last night and it's as dry as a popcorn fart here....

Mark,

You should have stayed in town. We have been under a flood watch all day and this morning at 8:00, Harrison @ 14th St. had 2 feet of water on them. Lots of stalled cars.
If it does this tomorrow too, it's gonna be bad because there is no place left for it to drain to. Everything is soaked and full to the brim.
