Road burner double eagle w/SLT pipes

I am thinking about upgrading my stock exhaust pipes to new Road Burner Double Eagle pipes w/SLT.

I would like to know if anyone has these pipes and/or heard any comments on the performance and sound of these pipes. I like the looks of the chrome pipe vs. the black hawk versions, but am interested in any positve or negative feedback from peeps who have them on their rides.

Please advise

i have a set of road burner double eagles on my 06 1300c and love them. the welds broke on the slip on backs so it was rattling, so i took them off and now just have the small straits and fell in love with them "loud" but with the slip ons they sounded good as well. my machanic recommended these 2 years back and said if i got them i wouldnt have to jet it. and he was right. even after i took off the backs, still running exelent. i get told quiet often by harley junkeys "thats the best jap crap ive ever hurd!" then i rebutle "i probley have more amarican parts on my bike then you do on yours!" i was thinking about putting them on my 02 18ooc and woundering if i would need the power comander if i did so???????????? also just was looking on ebay and they have some steals on these pipes.

Thanks, for the feedback do you have pics of the pipes on your ride? video clip of sound would be nice.

I spoke with tech support from DG who mfgr's RoadBurners and they stated if the bike is fuel injected it would need a power commander to fine tune.

Let me know if you got pics or video of the pipes, would like to gawk at them..

ill try to figure it out tomorrow. but i have them on my 1300 and they said the same thing for the 1300 and 1800 wen i talked to them about it. but ive had them on there for 20xxxmiles+ so ??? and my leg doesnt get hot as hell or anything at a light, and ive only had MAYBE 2 back fires since i bot the and i think it was the gas ??? ware do you live by?

There is going to be a TRI CITY meet and greet on the 11th of April if you are in the Houston, Austin or San Antonio area check out tis thread we can maube meet up on this day and compare notes...

gumbo ;D dont hate the player hate the GAME!!!  O0    but they do look nice?!

And the bb6 rally is like the next weekend and just trying to figure out weather or not to go to that or S carolina the following week??? so living in the moment and if the 18ish, meetngreet, day i wake up and the breeze is blowing right i mite go, but if i do i havent got on a trip with my 1800 yet so that would probly be the bike i take. but i ges i could offer my buddy to ride it so he doesnt have to ride that 750. o and theres a wedding that weekend so really ???

this is the only pick i got. and the way ive been running them for a wile. if you go to roadburner.com u can see them on watever you like. these may be to loud for the lady, anyone riding next to you, or the nabors! and thats why i love them. great for the man that likes giving a woman a ride and making her SHUT UP AND RIDE!!!

and yes gumbo ive had a woman sit on that fender for 100miles strait and she didnt even complain! wish i would have been a tit bit nicer to her :notworthy: but ive had even wimen 30 miles strait take a break and finish 200 miles in the day. i dont get it.  :banghead:
