Rider Down, Hit and Run
« on: February 25, 2009, 11:04:42 AM »

I just found out from my daughter in law, that one of her co-worker's husband was involved in a hit and run yesterday afternoon...hit him from behind and took off.  He is in the hospital, Ben Taub, with a cracked skull, but coherent.  I don't know if he is an X Rider or not, she didn't know, but he is a rider and needs our prayers for a speedy recovery.  He name is David Hallene, should anyone know him.

Please wear your helmets!!  He didn't have his on!

Very sad news.   I hope he recovers completely and quickly AND they catch the SOB that hit him.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I'm surprised my mom hasn't called about it.  She works at Ben Taub and many times in the past she'd call me to ask if I know the person who came in.

+1  If you have one person in this world that you care about, or cares for you, then
you should wear a helmet.  I support your right to choose, I'm just strongly suggesting.
