Communication Systems

Will one brand talk to another brand or do riders have to have the same brand and model to talk to each other?
I have the IMC MOTORCOM BTS-300 SERIES (CLASS 1 / 2 CH)
It has bluetooth capabilities and I have read until I'm bug eyed but still don't know if I can talk to others or if they have to have the same system.
Anyone?
Heck, lie to me, just don't tell me to do a search.  :ohwow:

I'll lie to ya, they all talk to each other.
Ask me how I know.
I don't.
Don't have one yet. :stickpoke:
I did order the cheapest thing you can get with a boosteroo.
I know the boosteroo thing works pretty good, got it at Radio shack and hooked it up to the ipod thing.
Bout blew my ears off. Not to bad for 28 bucks.
I'll let ya know how the cheap comm system work when it shows up.

I am going to order the SCALA team set for the wife and I . Friends have them and it seems to work pretty well.

Just got the Scala Q2 multi set   262 shipped on ebay,    well worth it if you are only talking to one bike, has capability of 2 but can't speak to that function. We could talk at least a 1/4 mile away, and very clear,  was hard to understand her sometimes over 70 miles an hour because of wind noise though but up to 70 worked great.
