Let's combine our nickles and dimes and buy a town in the Hill Country. 13 acres, already has a bar/dance hall building for us to use for rallies and get togethers. Wish I had $800,000 laying around.

Since the guy who the town was named after is Albert Luckenbach!! Just wonder if the Luckenbach, Texas was named after him to?? It is just down the road and has a dancehall just like Albert, Texas!

This "town" was for sale on Ebay a year or so ago, I guess they never had a buyer. The bar is about all there is to the town. Maybe another building or two. I don't know when they do their business, but when I go by there I never see more than one or two ppl and sometimes none. At one time they had it priced up over a million, so i guess they didn't get the sba "STIMULATION".

too bad the TX x riders is not as big as the VTXOA if that was the case it would cost us about $3.00 a person to have this town....

Got a great idea, surely the stimulus package has a way we can swing this. I'll look into it - only catch with be the town will have to be called Gumbo.

You might be in luck. Google didn't list a town in Texas called Gumbo. Maybe our new Prez would help you out because man can't live on Fried Chicken and Watermellon alone!

I've actually been to Albert. Went there memorial Day last year. Nice place , great bar. Not far from Luckenbach. It sold last year on Ebay to an Italian guy that never came up with the money.

That's good, we're selling to much of America to other places that don't have a clue what we're about anyway, especially here in TEJAS.

I offered $40,000 based on the trees in the orchard all look dead and it's against the law to sell alchohol that close to a school zone.
They said they would get back to me. I'm not holding my breath.
