Mine has slipped from time to time, even when not pulling the trailor. Then there are times when I have tried to make it slip and can't get it to.  :idontknow:

Had the same problem replaced the clutch and springs, and still slipped. Ended up being some trash in the lines, blew the lines out and the problem went away

Kenny, flush out the hydraulic system and fill with new fluid. If that doesn't work try shimming the springs. Did you soak the plates in oil before you installed them?

Thanks.  Plates were soaked in new oil.  Lines were flushed not long ago.   Thinking it could be an air boble. Or silicone in the oil from the gasket material.

It's a Longshot, but,,,

If the stack height of the new clutch is less than the stack height of the old, and your clutch reservoir was completely full prior to the stack replacement, you now may have too much fluid in the system, not allowing the clutch to fully engage.. A line bleed/flush will resolve that issue.

Might as well bleed/flush the clutch slave cylinder, too. (Use of a vacuum bleeder does not flush the slave cylinder, only the master and line. See Service Manual on slave flush or ask if need be. )

I just installed a MTC a couple weeks ago,,,, So far, so good!

Kenny, you got something else wrong somewhere. I don't believe it's the oil, especially being Amsoil. You said your lines were flushed not long ago, did you use Dot 4 brake fluid when you replaced it?  ??? ???

what does your clutch lever feel like when this happens. harder/softer to pull. the system has a compensation port that allows fluid to return to the reservoir when the fluid heats up/expands. if there is an obstruction in the port this could cause your problem.  may have some trash in your master cyclinder. may need to tear into the master cyclinder and clean the internals, use clean brake fluid to do this. valvoline synpower fluid is the best. good luck and keep us posted.

Gotta do what ya gotta do Kenny.   Hope your back surgery goes well and your back in the saddle before long! We got roads to ride and white stripes to see my brother. Get well soon.
