I made it Stans as well for the Pre Coloradical meeting and I concur on those steaks.  That's a great offer, but I believe they are sticking to I-10 so that would be quite a bit out of the way.

Last I looked they had a stop in Tuscon, AZ. planned. They would have a much pretier ride if they veered North to Stans and started sinking South in MS. Like I've done it before.  ::) I do know that I-10 in La. sux or did a year ago anyway. It's like going down an oil field road that had a dry hole.

Which ever way they go I want to assist in some way if I can.  :eagle:

iF your on I10 from  East of  Beaumont all the way to Orange Texas its narrow lanes with lots of road construction and some spots pretty bumpy. The best route would be take Hwy 90 but have no clue how that run is but lots of small towns.

The following links should keep everyone up to date on this fluid situation. Info changes often so keep checking in for updates.
The info is kinda spread out over several threads on the cali board, but these links should give everyone a good idea of the big picture...

Anyone that has thought about donating to this effort but hasn't for whatever reason, please reconsider and contribute, no matter the amount. $5 is a tank of gas and another 100 miles.  :bikerider:

I don't know the man but I have heard several whom I respect and trust issue nothing but praise and respect for the man. He is a veteran, that's all I needed to seal my commitment to help however I can.

Think about it this way, we join in on all kinds of benefit rides and ususally contribute $20 minimum without any proof or verification that those in need actually recieve any assistance. This one is right out there for you to see and possibly ride along with as well.

Kromee is the boss. This is how we need to do this:
Send checks or money orders made out to Richard Brownell or to Johanna Mask to: Johanna Mask, P.O. Box 362, Wilton, CA 95693

Also, you may use PayPal to Kromee at: kromee@frontiernet.net

They will still be accepting donation even after the 13th, which will be deposited into Senaca's account. The reality is, even when the dream ride is over, his fight won't be. Help all you can!

Thanks,

Dusty

I'll keep following this thread and the Cali threads to see exactly where/when they'll be here in Texas.  If I can get away, I'll find a place to meet up and ride with him...even if it is just a little bit.

I'm still not sure whether they'll be headed up the I-20 through Dallas, or down this way on the I-10.
I guess we'll know when they get here. ;)
I'll be tracking their every move.

Kromee and Geez both e-mailed me and said they are going to Stan's in Lindale, Mike (Geez) had to back outta the ride, but that's the intended TX stopover point.
