From what I read on the Ca. board donations of any size are needed. They are basically putting together a caravan of support vehicles to assist and funds are needed to support these vehicles. I to want to ride with them. Wish Texas wasn't so damn big. It would be cool to meet them at the border and escort them all the way across this great State. That would be about 1800 miles for me and I would never leave the state. I'm giving some serious thought to hooking up with them here and riding to Florida with them. Never been.

You must be talking about this one:You and your wife were the first xriders I met up with. I think I got to the hotel about 20 minutes before ya'll did. Boy was I a green rider back then. I'll never forget leaving out the next morning when I was given the option to take the scenic route or the let's get there route. I chose the let's get there. We must have run at least 20 miles at 100-120 mph. I was thinking, what have I gotten myself into. I had no idea where I was so I had to keep up. I had not seen that Stan had offered to do that for them. He cooks a mean steak! For some reason I thought they were following I-10.

Including me....I also remember that the battery was dead and it had to be pushed from the trailor. Is KingCobra still active in HDL?
