With sideburners, be ready to offend everyone in the neighborhood.  I hate em and I have bigshots which are loud enough.

I think they are the best pipe for the 1800.  They really make 1800's sound good unlike all the other pipes.

My wife said that some of the pipes for the 1800 make them sound like an elephant farting under water. :ohwow:

I think it sounds good, but just too loud.  If it had a serious baffle in it, I think it would sound even better.

Mine are on 1800 but I only live in McKinney.  Shouldn't be too tough to get together if you want to hear them.  Can't imagine anyone thinking they're too loud.  My only disappointment is that I can't remove the baffles and make them louder.  On the rare occasions I ride to work, they're a big hit with the neighbors at 0530.

Head mechanic at Kay's MC Mania in Nolanville, TX says that Hard Chrom Sideburners are ultimate exhaust system for increased performance on the 1300... :bikerider:

The side burner is too loud!!!  but if you don't care to ride at the end of the pack and loose your hearing 10 years sooner by all means the pipes looks nice...     As far as power goes a bike with a 2 into 1 and with some restriction will give you more power.
