Martin said that Powell was traveling at a safe speed and that alcohol was not involved.
The accident and investigation led to a three-hour closure of Honea-Egypt Road

Just did a search on fatal accident FM 1488, I didn't see it but assure you there was a fatal Sunday on 1488 did see the cars come by on wreckers. Surely someone else got caught up in the stopped traffic.

I'm sure glad we stayed on 1774 we had a nice cruise to the house. Had a great ride and really enjoyed meeting everyone.
