This thread is just to organize the folks riding together from the Austin area, Kenny. Make sure you let 'em know over on the main thread, as they are getting a total headcount over there for the restaraunt.  :thumbup:

   Have we nailed down a gathering place for all the Austin Area folks wanting to make the journey?   My suggestion was to meet at the Walmart at 183 and 35 as then we can just take 183 all the way out.  I am agreeable to other possible (no back tracking) locations.  :thumbup:

We are going to go with your suggestion. I'll have the routes posted later today, but we'll be starting from that WalMart, specifically back in the NW corner, by the gas pumps. We will run down the backside of WalMart, hit Cameron, then 183 South.

Okay, here is the deal for the ride down. Nothing fancy, just a straight shot down 183 to meet up with the SA folks in Gonzales. We'll meet at the WalMart northeast of the 183/35 intersection. Meet in the northwest corner of that lot, back by the gas pumps. We will leave NLT 9:00am, which should put us in Gonzales by 10:30, when the SA folks plan on being there. Tommy/beaux43, take a peek at the map, and figure out where you want to meet up with us, if you're not going to the WalMart start, (and I don't blame ya). You can add to 9:00am the minutes as they are called out in the turn by turn directions listed, to get a feel for when you need to be there. We're not going to stop, as that would lead to 5-10 minutes of nut scratching and jaw jabbering, and we'll have plenty of time for that, either in Gonzales, or Hallettsville. Just jump in!

For those that haven't ridden with the group before, I wanna give a brief safety speech at WalMart. For those that have ridden with the group, and/or have ridden many more miles than this dumbass, please keep your eyerolls to a minimum. It's a decent sized group, and we have some new folks, so I just want to make sure, for safety's sake, that we are all on the same page.

Here's the map, I'll throw one up for the ride home later today. That map will just be for those that want to ride all, or part, of the way back with me. Normally, these M&Gs are kinda every rider for themselves on the way back, so you won't hurt my feelings if you tell me to get lost after lunch.
