Carb Problems

Okay, a buddy of mine has a Hypercharger Pro R with HK 2.5 Classic Straights. We have a 200 DJ jet in. When riding at a constant cruising speed, the bike hesitates until the choke is pulled out about half way.  We have the DJ needle on the 5th groove (or 2nd up from the bottom...can't remember how many grooves there are). We are 2.5 turns out on the mixture screw. She pulls hard in all gears otherwise.
Anyone heard of this problem?

what about the mixture jet is the stock one?  If i recall the stock size is 55 (could be 65)    also check the spark plugs...  they could be fouled...

2.5 out on mixture screw, checked the plugs, And Johnny Cheese told us to try changing the slow jet to 65.  Nothing has helped.  We are going to pick it back up again next Saturday.  I am going to pick up some jets or some metric drill bits this week.  The crazy thing is that we drilled out the 200 to what Steve says is a 238 and we still had the same problem... But it sure did pull hard...Ask Jason about that one.  He said he didn't think his orange machine could hang with it.. ;D  It didn't seem like it was rich at that point either.  This is crazy!! ???

Jim to the rescue. :c

We should have a carb day and get a few of us together.  I need to get Jennifers bike running right so that she'll get out there and ride it.  We're just about to the point of selling it.

That sounds like a good idea (Carb Day) I have a few issues that I would like and I have been thinking about the SCAR mod to see if that clears it up..
