"OUCH" Need a rear turn signal
«

If there is anyone who has changed their rear signal lights out and would like to sell the stock ones please let me know. (04 1300c) I think they are all the same.
Had a little mishap today. Been needing to WD-40 my kickstand for a while now. Shouldn’t have procrastinated.
Came home today and parked in the driveway. Put the stand what I thought was down and started getting off. Halfway off I realized the bike was falling. I guess the kickstand folded under. Anyway. The bike rolled over on to the highway bar. Got her back up and checked things over. Didn’t see a single scratch until I saw the left rear turn signal. “BUSTED”. I’ve got Kury Deep dish bezels but that wasn’t hurt at all, just the stock left chrome turn signal housing. Hey, at least I got my foot out from under it in time.
If you have em setting around and don't need em let me know.

Greg...I have the Rt & Lt from my '03 1800R (both in great shape). I live in Austin just past the airport. You are welcome to either or both; just let me know.

Beaux- Thanks. I'm not familiar with the lights on the 1800 at all. I'll try to find out if they are the same unless you already know. I kinda figure you already know the answer to that or you wouldn't have posted. If they do fit we can definitely work something out. I have a daughter in Austin that could meet you and another one in Buda that works in Austin.
OR, I'm off Friday and Saturday, I could just ride up there if you are available.

I just checked the Direct Line OEM parts list and the part numbers are the same except for one letter.
my 04 1300C 33650-MCH-003
your 03 1800R 33650-MCV-003
Do you know the difference between MCH and MCV?

If memory serves the lights are the same but the bases (mounts) are different, and the lamps can be removed from the bases

A great way to start off the year. Thanks to both TAZ and Beaux43 for being such great folks. Both offered me their old signal lights to replace my broken one. TAZ has the same model as me and will be putting them in the mail next week.
This is a great site with a lot of great folks that I'm looking forward to meeting and riding with this year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE
