How are those Matap? ABS thick enough? Finish good? How about the locks and chrome?

ABS is pretty thick, finish was good except for one spont on the left bag on the cover, seems the paint ran a little, but that doesn't matter to me too much b/c I already have planned a complete spray over soon, but for those who just want to settle might be a big deal, however I'm pretty sure each set is different.  Locks are decent, it comes with two keys and has a truck like lock, not much chrome on it other than were the locks are, and that's pretty decent.  My bags rattle just a little bit, but thats b/c i use the easybrackets to mount them, but if they were on permanent I'm pretty sure that wouldn't rattle at all.  I love having the convenience of being able to store quite a few things, including a six pack every once in awhile.   :o ;D ;D

Put a set of Tsukayu bags on just a couple of months ago. Went with the Jumbo Strong style. They are great and really good size (26 liters of storage in each bag). I have been really pleased with them. Just a note on installation. You should be prepared to change out your rear turn signals because the stock turn lights will come into contact with the bag.

You can order them through mean cycles    www.meancycles.com

I ordered mine through Al Lamb's Dallas Honda. They are an authorized dealer. Either way, they come from China so be prepared to wait a little while for them.

having trouble posting the picture here. If you would like to see them installed, e-mail me at randy@reedinspection.com and i will send you a pic.

Mine are old Harley bags and are mounted using a custom bracket.  If they were twice as wide I'm sure my wife would still not have enough room.  On our last 1200 mile hill country tour we had two leather bags bungee'd to the trunk :-)

Hey bomber, I never have a problem having my wife keeping it to minimum when we do our road trips, but damnit she sure does know how to fill those up on the way back.  that's when the leather bags kick in to help even the load.  By the way, nice x.

One pants, two shirts per week on the road - $40

Laundromat and detergent - $4

Dr bills resulting from riding overloaded, top heavy bike - priceless! :-X  ::) 8) ;)

Seriously, we all take too much junk on the road!!  I'm the biggest pack rat of all! :-*

Thx, I sure like the bike! I can usually get by a week with a walmart plastic sack of stuff.  The low speed handleing is described as "Sporty" when it's filled to the brim :-)
