My Dad built a Beach Cabin at Crystal Beach for the famliy back in 1974.  It held up great all those years...  Ike was the one that took it down...   :'(

Awesome photographs, I am terribly sorry for your family's loss, thank God it was at least only "stuff" and not you or your's who were lost.  :'(

Brad, sorry to hear of the loss! :(. I know you said you were going down to help out your folks in a few days....our prayers are with them! Be careful down & back and let us know if you guys need anything.

Brad, sorry to hear about your dad's house going down, but as has been said before, glad you and family are ok.  Thanks for that link to the pictures...they were incredible.

thanks everyone...  Mom and Dad are fine.  The Cabin they owned is gone.  Their house in Lumberton is in good shape short of the service being yanked off the house.  Dad has it wired back up (he's and electrician) and is waiting on the Linemen to set a new pole.  He thinks they should have juice in teh next day or so.   O0

Can't imagine LSR happening this year...
