I tend to get into the higher gears as soon as I can.  I drive a big rig for a living.  We practice progressive shifting with them to get the best mpg.  I try to do the same with my X. I get right at 40mpg every tank.

40's a lot better than 6.7, aint it? Friend of mine at work has slowed down to 62mph max and he's getting all the way up to 7.2 at times. (And I thought my pickup truck mileage sucked while towing the boat.)

I agree with Brad, 60 + is ok for 5th, as for Dusty at say ABOUT 132 YOU THINK 5TH IS OK. RIDE SAFE.
