Bike Tires
« on: July 07, 2006, 09:19:14 AM »

Had to order new tires for my '05 vrxs 1300R.  Can't believe I'm having to wait almost 3 weeks to have them put put on by the stealer.  My rear tire tread is really low (after only 6,500 miles), so having to 'pick' my rides till I can get them put on is killing me.

Are you waiting on the tires or the stealer?

If it's the latter, take it to an independed and get it done, you won't have to wait so long.  If your waiting on the tires then..... I guess you're stuck...

Waiting on the stealer - He's the only one around here who will also balance the tires.

If you are in the Houston/Conroe area you can go to CC Cycles. He will mount them for you at a very good price.

CC Cycles in on Rayford Rd by the Woodlands.

VTXLady53. He's not far from me, we live about 75 miles south of Dallas-Ft.Worth area and if he ever looks at the posts and gets his tires done (mine too) then maybe we can hook up and ride down y'alls way and hook up. I read all the posts from the Houston, Spring, Conroe, etc area and sounds like yawl have entirely TOO MUCH FUN! What we need is DFW X'ers on a massive ride that way. Woops I guess that's goina be Galveston in November. Really lookin forward to meeting all you folk and puting faces to the names on the screen.
I like your new avatar. The old one was nice too! Didn't make me tired.
