The goons here in Dallas are offering up room for 12,000 at the Convention Center.   >:(

There better be a strong Police presence.

Just remember, they are special and will expect only the best. I saw them on TV complaining about thier free ride. Why did 200,000 unemployed people wind up bck in a city that was torn to shreads and they were still unable to find work. They will more than likely stay in Dallas, raise the crime rate and cause problems in the school systems just like they did in Houston. Send then to the Democrats up North. They seem to think that enough is not done for them.

I'm sure it's higher now but the last count I had was 36 katrina evacuees were involve in murders as either the killer or the victim in Houston alone. Just sent another to death row a week ago. Kinda strains our sense of hospitality. >:(

Oh please don't get me started on this one, I get up every morning and go to work, while across the street we have a house full of katrina evacuees that never leave the house. I don't know how that do it but they have two new cars one a SUV and BBQ every weekend.  >:( To top it off they even have a lawn service company take care of the yard, how long will we be paying for this??? ???
Sorry I guess with my years I am losing my compassion for others, I seem to remember when folk hit hard time they picked up and started over again. Sign of the times.   :'(
