'04 1800C Tribal $8,000
« on: May 29, 2008, 10:48:02 AM »

Listing it here first before going to the big board and eBay.
In the East Dallas area (I-30 corridor), I can arrange delivery for a fee (on my flatbed trailer behind my truck)

For sale is my 2004 VTX1800 C $8,000.00 with ~6,800 miles
Spec 1
Power Commander III USB
Kury grips and set of Throttle Boss (one on each side)
Kury Cruise Pegs w/ Kury Dully ISO pegs
Kury Dully ISO Riders Pegs
Stock seat, stock risers, stock air box
Rear tire is Dunlop D251 (stock) with 1/2 life left
Front tire is fairly new Metzler 880
Fresh Oil & Filter
Fresh brake & clutch fluids (Rockwall Honda service  ::) )

Choice of one set of pipes: Used V&H Bigshots, Used HK 2.5" Classic Straights, AND the original Stock exhaust pipe. I will install your choice on the bike at delivery.

I'm open to negotiations, but low baller's will be ignored. This is a fair price and I'm in no hurry to give it away.  O0

I'll get a couple pictures up, but it is  basically a STOCK bike as depicted in Honda literature.

Folks, I've editid the post to show a lowered price for the bike.

She's now available for $8grand - a HELL of a deal!  O0

Might be able to throw a few additional accessories in on the deal too. So let's talk!

Finally - A PICTURE (taken during Blue Bonnet Thunder)

All other accessories seen in the picture are not included in this price. Seen in the picture is a set of Boss Bags Model 34 ($900), Ultimate Bigboy Studed seat w/ Rider Backrest and Passenger Backrest ($950), Hondaline Deluxe Backrest, Luggage Carrier & Backrest Bracket set ($500), National Cycles 2-Up Switchblade Shield w/pouch ($250), Aeromach risers ($70), and a Dynojet Power Commander III USB ($300). All of these will come off the bike for seperate sale (once the bike is sold). If you want the complete set when you purchase the bike, I'm asking for an additional $1,500 for these items (that's a 50% savings vs. retail - as typical of ANY used equipment).

These are NOT available until after the bike is SOLD - do NOT contact me about seperate purchase  >:(

No, that is NOT tank trim, only the suns reflection on the tank seam  8)

Just to update the post:

I still have the bike, now rolling at about 7,500 miles. I just spent a few weeks in Denver and loaded it onto the trailer to have with me when I got a chance to ride - which I did! It runs great, but time for a new rear tire. I'll put a ME880 to match the front, and no increase in asking price!

I'm wanting to get back into a Goldwing - but will hate to lose the VTX, I just love rolling on the throttle coming out of a turn on a twisty road. The Wing will scoot also, but nothing beats the sound of a air box mod and V&H Bigshots thundering in the canyons of the Rockies and Smokies!
