Question of the Day

Question of the Day
When installing saddle bags, should I put something under them to avoid friction, seems like this could be a paint issue. Is there a product for this??

Go to you local fabric store and buy some felt! That is what is used on the back side of a cars bra. I have used it and works real good and keeps the paint from being rubbed off!  8)

If they're throwover bags, whatever you put between them and your paint will eventually get grit and grime imbedded in it and start grinding away at your paint. Get hard mounts.

Just use throwovers, and then you'll have a good reason for new/custom paint later on...

Hipshots right, If I had bought hard bags instead of the first set of immatation leather bags I wouldn't have had to buy the last two sets of immatation leather bags I have bought. The last set I put on, I installed with ez-brakets. I'm not real happy with them either.

I should have bought the wing I went in to buy instead of the X.  :'(
