WHAT WAS REALLY SAID.......................................went for a ride on Labor day, North on 45, till i saw the exit for 75... caught 1374 just south of Huntsville, looped back around to 150 towards coldsprings, got lost, found 222, found the Lake Livinston dam, still lost (i got gps/maps on my phone, but was not lost enough yet)... found 59 and went home.
the Lovebug's were out in force! My windshield was coated... by time i got home, could not see through it. I
had lovebug's all the way down to my knuckles in my
open finger gloves. there were times that i thought that
i was riding through a small rain shower just from all of the "juice" that was hitting me.
Got home, let the bike cool off and then
scrubbed all that gunk off of it. Report to moderator Logged

Been there done that...[/b]both with lovebugs and butterflies...it's a PIA to
try and clean all the body parts out of the crevices of your bike.
Sounds like you had a good time tho, even with the bugs and getting lost...isn't it Hooter that says, I don't get lost I just explore alternative routes? (or something along that lines)

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

I was in Richmond this weekend visiting my brother. Went for a ride to Galveston and got back after dark. I will be
cleaning those pesky little bugs off of the bike along with everything I was wearing at the time.
They were everywhere! They are definitely not as tasty as the Junebugs in Dallas...

Had the same thing happen to me this weekend, started out fine early in the morning, but soon as the sun came up and warmed up those critters, they were everywhere.
Nasty mess As you can see, I got my new decoder.
