2 Down, 1 To Go
« on: August 06, 2008, 01:42:06 PM »

Thank God for Texas!!

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5924476.html

I was living in H-Town when this happened, and met Randy Ertman, a San Jacinto High Roller at the time, at a Justice For All benefit ride. The murders have traveled in the back of my mind since they happened, and I can't wait until they bury the needle in the arm of that prick Peter Cantu. It was his trial that brought about the right of victims to address the convicted, and that little a**hole smirked the whole time Randy was addressing him in court. I only wish the other three pussies in that "gang" hadn't evaded the death penalty, due to their age. There isn't a hell hot enough for them, and it's not too soon for them to be there.  >:(   >:(

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

What I don't understand is if anyone goes to Mexico and commit a crime you never hear from them again..........You have no rights if they feel you have commited something illegal in their country. You forfeit your Life. It is either death or life in prison according to them. They feel they are the Law so they will enforce it.

So why should it be any different here in the USA just because they are mexican citizens or any other foregin citizens. When you commit a crime and you are proven guilty without a doubt then you should be punish as we see fit.

If you commit a crime in any 3rd world country they take it into their own hands and do as they please. They may let them go, keep the person in prison for years or after agreeing to let them go take their time processing paper work just to show us (USA) they are in control of the situation. There are more foreign countrys that breaks Diplomatic Immunity then you think.

Quote
Sandra Babcock, a law professor at Northwestern University in Chicago and an attorney for Medellin, said the case was not just about one Mexican national on death row.

"It's also about ordinary Americans who count on the protections of the consulate when they travel abroad in strange lands," she said. "It's about the reputation of the U.S. as a nation that adheres to the rule of law."

No, it's about not TarterSauce-ing around in other countries and breaking the law.  Those TarterSauce-s deserve to die a much more horrible death as would any of us if we did that in another country.

Quote
Weeks after the decision, a bill retroactively calling for the hearings was introduced in Congress. The bill, however, remains in legislative limbo.

Surprise, Surprise, but this time it was a good thing...

"Outside of Texas this is a huge diplomatic misstep," said Columbia Law School professor Sarah Cleveland. "Unfortunately, I doubt the international community is likely to brush this off as simply the actions of Texas. In the international community ... the United States is responsible for Texas' actions."

Judge Cathy Cochran, of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, took a different view.

"Some societies may judge our death penalty barbaric," she noted. "Most Texans, however, consider death a just penalty in certain rare circumstances. Many Europeans disagree. So be it."

Don't Mess With Texas!

Quote
While some cheered Texas' decision to execute him on Tuesday, others warned that his death could render the treaty void, putting the lives of American citizens arrested overseas in jeopardy...

...On the other side of the street, Nancy Bailey was among those opposing the execution. Putting Medellin to death, she said, would flout the nation's treaty commitments and endanger Americans arrested abroad.

Don't TarterSauce around in other countries and stay out of trouble...

What makes me mad is that they waited and wasted our tax dollars keeping the punk alive, feeding and housing him. The prostitutes (Jim's verbage that I like) are to blame for this. Everytime they put someone to death, they should sit a lawyer right there beside them and take one of them as well.
I think they should fry one a week and get them off the payroll.

I like the way THE EXPERTS tell us that we should allow these vermin to come to our homeland and kill us without full punishment because we might be in danger when we visit THEIR homeland. Easy fix -- Don't take your money to their homeland on vacation. Be safe here, no worries there. I've lived all over the world, and there are few places where Americans are truly safe.

Mexico doesn't have a death penalty, that's why they (supposedly) freak out so much about their nationals getting the death penalty here.

Of course, life in a Mexican prison is likely far worse.

It appears that that sentiment is starting to change, with the recent bloodshed going on there.
