What a blast.......Made it home OK,
I thank you Trent, for having us over at your place, the chow was good.... Martha liked the mudbugs and had a dozen or so.. she had never tried them before... dont forget to have Brian PM me on the fairing he is interested in.

Once again it was cool to have a break in the middle of the chaos at ROT and relax with some good down to earth folks and enjoy some good times and stories. Let's do it again soon.....

I want to also Thank Geri and David.... for having us at their camp site to enjoy the night and the scenery. This was our first ROT rally and did not have any bad experiences, if you know what I mean, thanks you guys we had a good time and left with good memories.....

Geri, Martha asks; did you use up all your D beads....... ;D ;D ;D

Nice to meet everyone there. Hope to hear from Y'all that you made it back OK....lets keep in touch...

Glad you guys enjoyed it! I love to cook (my sister says that I will make someone a great wife some day...ughhh) and really love to cook for a great bunch of folks. The brisket wasn't the best (wouldn't have even placed in a cook-off), but wasn't the worst I have made. Like Crewsn said, "It'll make a turd....". Thanks, Jay!! O0 The only thing that I didn't cook was the cole slaw, and that was because you don't drink too much beer while making cole slaw. Brisket and mud bugs, on the other hand..... ;D

Thanks to Trent for providing the casa, propane, 40 lbs of mud bugs, 2 big-assed cooking pots, sodas, and waters. It'll be a cool tradition for ROT. It was a great idea..

For those that missed it, ask Trent and Pogo about the "Great Crawfish Roundup". It was like 12 drunk monkeys trying to screw a greased up football.... And the slogan for the party....

!!!GRIP THE BASE, PULL OUT THE MEAT, AND SUCK THE HEAD!!!

Free crawfish next year to the person who guesses which two X'ers came up with THAT slogan....

Trent and Mike - the food was awesome and the company was great. Learned how (or watched) how to eat mud bugs! This was a great idea and should be continued each year! Did anyone see the dish fairy after that mess?  ;D  ;D  ;D
Once again - Thank You!!!! It was greatly appreciated!

Thanks ever so much for the hospitality.  Everyone made us out-of-towners feel welcome.  The chow was great and it was a great afternoon hanging out.  Anyone ever up in the DFW area, let us return the hospitality.

definetly do it again next year, had a great time and my compliments to the chef/chefs. this is about the only way i'll get to have 7 plate fulls of mud bugs. no one else here eats 'em.

good to meet some new X-riders and to catch up with some old timers as well.

your welcome for the lesson as well geri.
BTW, I'll never look at my garmin "GPS" the same again. ;D O0 ;D
