Harley Street Glide
« on: April 29, 2008, 11:22:50 AM »

I have always said that if I ever owned a Harley it would be the Street Glide.  Well, I am not sure how practical this particuliar bike is but I sure would like to see what it could do.   ;D

I saw this bike yesterday and I have to agree...if I bought a Harley I would get a Street Glide too.  I sat on a Street Glide at the IMS in Fort Worth this year and it felt uncomfortable as hell but I do like the look.  And that is one of the best Glides I have seen.

the street glide is a nice bike...  the front end will wobble a little going over 100 mph  due to the front fearing...  over all is a very nice bike, I got really close to buying one, went with the ultra instead...  the price difference between the two is not much but you get a lot more stuff on the Ultra that will be handy if you plan on riding it a lot.

the bike in the video is very nice to look at, but I would not want to ride it... the 124 C.I. motor will create alot of heat, and with a pipe going across like it does, i would think that it will burn your leg from all the heat.

I like the street glides hotrod look but to strech that motor out that far, would be fun to ride, but I would question reliability. Just shows ya, If you have the money, you can turn a Volkswagen into a jetplane.
