Front End Shake
« on: July 21, 2006, 12:41:11 PM »

I have a 1300S and At Speeds under 30mph It shakes a little more than I would like. Dose anyone find this to be a problem? Its not unstable, I really only notice it when I ride with one hand. I know I could just keep both hands on the handle bar but I have to wave to all the kids down my street. It's not a huge problem. Just wanted to ask.

how's your front tire?  PSI? is there a stripe worn on the left side?   Reason I ask is I have some shaking going on with the stock dunny.  Probably becasue its cupped.

hey CBF, definetly have a look at your front tire. mine was cupping real bad and caused a bad shake at low speeds and even a "growling" sound at higher speeds in the turns. you've really got to keep an eye on tire pressure, especially with the dunlops! ride safe.

Thanks Guys, I think it is my tire as well. I went for a ride this weekend and it was always find over 30mph. But I will have the tire changed this week.
Thanks
