Need help for Ebay problem!

I successfully bid for a camera on E-bay and I paid throght Paypal almost $500 immediately after the close of the auction.

12 days passed, there is no sight of the camera. I E-mailed the seller 5 days and 10 days after the close date but never got any response.

Late I found that the seller only had 4 tranasaction and a score of 100% positive.

I opened a dispute with Paypal today and just try my luck.

Anyone had experience on this type problems? What is the best way to deal with this?

I desperately need some guidance and help here.

Good luck, but I had one dispute on PP against a guy (VTX Rider in Fla of all things) over a damaged part he sent me.  He refused to make it right, so I filed on PP, and they denied the claim.  At least I got a negative against him and I blasted him on the VTXOA board. At least it is backed by Ebay, so you might have a chance.

You should be able to get contact info from the guy from PP or eBay.  That might help.  His pos feedback..as a buyer or seller?

They're making some changes (which won't help YOU **NOW**) that will hold funds for 21 days or until pos feedback for new sellers, etc... 

It sucks, but you have to use their process, now.

In what country was the seller? You have to be carefull aabou buying electronics from out of country sellers.

Sometimes paypal doesn't wanna pay you back for the false seller. Just keep at them. They pride thereselves in backing you in situations like these. Dont take no for an answer.

Hopefully you paid via CC.  If so just dispute it with yout CC co.  They will take care if it if PP doesnt

I have been using Ebay and PayPal for 5 yrs. I had several dead beats. PayPal and Ebay always took care of any problems I had. It may take a few days or even a few weeks but you will hear from them. They will take care of it.

My credit card co has an on line dispute pending for me now.... Still wateing to hear back....
