« on: January 03, 2008, 11:25:55 AM »

I just got my new pipes in and now I see where it says that I need 2 Oxygen Sensor Eliminator's. Does anyone have this on their bike or am I reading it wrong.

Unless you have a Republik of Kalifornia model you don't have an O2 sensor. The BigShots, if I remember correctly, have a bung welded on one of the pipes for the sensor; that bung should have a plug in it. Slather some anti-seize compuond on the plug to retard oxidation and tighten it up. Yer done.

Thanks for your help.

I just got finished installing my new air kit. What a joy. Now the pipes and then the power commander, all before bed time.

The pipes should have shipped with 2 plugs that will screw in to the holes. Atleast mine did.
