Like footwear, clothing sizes vary between manufacturers. Apparently these folks sell products from different manufacturers; the jacket I got is the same size I always buy and it fits just like all of the others I have. The label says 'USA LEATHER' and 'Made in China.' I found no lead-based paint on it......................

I got my jacket Tuesday and was very dissapointed, their sizing is way off.  I took the advice of ordering one size up.  I checked their sizing chart and according to it I should have needed an XL so I ordered and XXL, when I got it, I could not even zip it up it was so small.  When I looked at it, I could tell it was no more than a large with an XXL tag on it.  (Made in Pakistan)  I sent it back and was out the 6 bucks to return it.  I contacted the customer service and was told I could get 10% off on a new one, more money lost as I got it for 15% off during the sale.  Still waiting to see what they will do, sent in a request for an XXXl, even tho I have never wore this size in my life.  If they make it right, I can get over it, the pricing is still way below anyone else, but I will never order from Leatherup.com again.

Ok, so today I got my XXXL exchange jacket and it barely fits, even tho their sizing chart indicates I need an XL, quite a bit of difference.  I had to take out the liner to make it more comfortable.  I have a 46 1/2 chest and the XXXl is supposed to be for a 52-54 chest.  I can understand  little of, but not 2 sizes.  Plus the zipper is very stiff, maybe it will loosen up with use.  Plus I was out the 7 bucks to ship back, plus additional charge for the larger size.  Glad all of you had a good experience, but for me LeatherUp isn't worth the hassle and I won't ever buy form them again. So if you do, Good Luck!

It was just a side joke from another thread about corvette owners puffing their chest out. I was just fishing, don't worry about it.  :)

Sounds like a Pakistakimistaki.  I've ordered chaps and two jackets and their sizing has been spot on.  I'm happy with the quality/pricing point balance I received from them.  If you are interested in custom and exact sizing in a leather product that is of the highest quality/price point, check out Foxcreek Leather.  I just received my classic motorcycle jacket today from FCL and OMFG!!!!  It is the MC jacket that all other jackets bow to!

Happy Holidays.

Yeah, I looked at their stuff and they has some nice looking jackets, but my budget wouldn't allow for it right now.  I guess with LU, it varies by vender, becuase some people don't have a problem and some do.
