I have a Honda Line windshield and light bar on my '04 1300S. The windshield has some stress cracks, can hardly be seen, but they bother me being the perfectionist I am. According to the local Honda dealer, the only way to get a replacement screen is to buy the whole kit, mounting hardware and all. I can't imagine that a replacement glass is not available and I will have to spend $500-$600 to get this fixed. Has anyone ever needed to replace their windshield and found one that will work? Your help is appreciated.

They just want you to think that! Check out Clearview windshields. Honda doesn't make the shields. Clearview sells replacements that are stock and oversized. Hope this helps.

I have never replaced, but my windshield is a National Cycle and I love it - looks as good or better than the Hondaline, and much cheaper and higher quality IMO.  Plus, their eagle emblem looks cool!
