honda amp and speaker system

Anyone hear or try Speaker and amp system by Honda for 1300R?

I've got a pair of speakers on my handlebars with a 150 watt amp that I bought on e-bay. Mfg is UniqCycle Sounds. I'll have to find paperwork for name of company I got them from. I have V&H bigshots. I have to turn the music down to hear pipes. I'll be at LSR if you want hear them.

Where would amp mount or are they pre-amp speakers?

You can buy them with amps built in the speakers or as  a seperate unit. Depends on what you get...the internal ones usually are lower powered 40 watts or so, and the amp is taking up air space in the speaker, thus not letting you get the sound you would have otherwise. The external amps up to 150 or so watts are about cigarrette pack size, just a little thicker. If you've done the desmog that'll give you room for the amp. ;D

Mine was put on left side where the tool kit was. Tight fit. I'm in no hurry to take the cover off in case I can't get it back on LOL. So far no probems.
