Tail of the Dragon!!

Went to NC last week, meet my two brothers and a friend.  We rode the Smoky Mountian roads, it was great!  Right time of the year too, very little traffic of any kind.

nice pics O0 rode there last year, really is a beautiful place to ride, would like to go when the colors change :) :)

just ride slow and enjoy the view, heard the cops have really taken over the dragon to protect us from ourselves :-\ but there were a few when we were there that needed protection, those sport bike guys were flying!! have fun, be safe O0

We got lucky, there was nar a LEO on the Dragon the day we went, nor any sports bike.  We only meet 3 vehicles coming at us and we did not have anyone in front of us or have anyone behind us wanting to pass....The perfect ride.

The Parkway is a nice ride too.

Stayed in a place called Mountian Brook Resort, very nice and quiet place. O0

sounds like ya'll had the perfect ride, actually the day we went it had rained a little so most of the sport bikes were parked, and every body else was slowed down so wasn't bad, and yes the cherohala skyway was really pretty to, and there we only saw one or two cars :) :)

I rode it this year, too, and it's an awesome ride. There was actually an accident as we were about to begin the Dragon. A sports bike took out a GW. Airflighted both of them out. The GW was 30 yards down the side of the mountain only being held there by the trees. Needless to say, everyone was cruising at a reasonable speed and it was a blast.

What a blast, cops were not as bad as we heard, although the other couple of guys with me brought home an extra souviner.
